NOTE: Gustav can be used in two ways.
- With tongue relief, or with bar relief.

With tongue relief - If you would describe your horse as something with the following;

• Can be on/off in the connection
• Pulls away or up when you take the reins
• Try to put the tongue over the bit
• Fussy mouth

With bar relief - Turn the bit upside down. If you would describe your horse as something with the following;

• Can be on/off in the connection
• Stiff to ride
• Bites on the bit, try to suck it back
• Do not seak the contact towards the bit
• Drops the bit/fall behind the hand

100% super smooth surface even around the joints. The joints will never interfere or push against the palate. A very comfortable bit that shapes naturally around the tongue and reveals the bars from constant pressure.

This design is ideal for sensitive horses that easily get wounds. We added Universal rings, just for the benefit of deciding the leverage effect day by day.

Reins in the bottom ring = Most leverage + the gag effect of the ring.

Reins in the centre ring = Will work as a mix of a Baucher bit and loose rings.

We recommend adding our Secure clasps and chain to Gustav. Then you can divide the pressure between the poll, chin, and mouth.
